Physical Therapy Clinic

Physical therapists treat many orthopedic and neurologic conditions through movement. The LWSH Clinic is designed to provide physical therapy treatment to those with limited healthcare access. The clinic is stocked with treatment tables, exercise equipment, therapeutic modalities, and supplies to create home exercise plans for the patients to perform between sessions.

Dr. Dan Finkelstein
Diabetic Eye Clinic

Diabetes is a complex disease affecting many functions of the body. In an effort to help prevent complications, LWSH offers a diabetic eye clinic once a month. During this clinic, our volunteers perform a screen of the lower legs identifying individuals at risk for diabetic neuropathy and peripheral artery disease. At the same time, an Ophthalmologist performs an eye screen for diabetic retinopathy. Some common signs of diabetes to look out for are numbness or tingling in the hands and feet, excessive hunger, excessive thirst, and excessive urination.
